AL BUSTAN RESIDENCES APPOINT AL HAJIRY GROUP AS CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR

MUSCAT — Al Bustan Residences, one of Oman’s most recent and prestigious Real Estate Developments, has announced the appointment of the Al Hajiry Group as the project’s construction contractor at an official signing ceremony held at the Chedi Hotel in Muscat. The appointment signifies the start of the development’s construction in March.

Representatives present at the signing ceremony included Uto Baader, Deputy Chairman of Baader Projects, Hotels and Resorts LLC, Siegfried Lingel — Deputy Chairman of Baader Projects, Hotels & Resorts LLC — Real Estate Developments, Nasser Khamis al Hashar, Chairman of Al Hajiry Group and Sam Varghese, Managing Director of Al Hajiry Group.

The Al Hajiry Group is responsible for the building of all 47 villas and the surrounding infrastructure, including an exclusive Health Club on the site in Al Bustan which is located opposite the Majlis Oman, set to become one of the Sultanate’s most iconic new buildings when completed.

Siegfried Lingel, Vice- President of Al Bustan Residences said: “We are delighted to welcome Al Hajiry Group on board as our construction contractor. Today is a very special and exciting day for us all as we join together to begin the construction of Al Bustan Residences. The Al Hajiry Group has a wealth of experience within the region and in the Sultanate; the latest of their projects includes the new RO 22 million Petroleum Development Oman head office building in Mina Al Fahal.

The Al Hajiry Group won the construction contract for Al Bustan Residences following a rigorous tender process which was facilitated through Baader Projects, Hotels and Resorts, a new company in Oman responsible for the development of tourism projects across the Sultanate.

Baader Projects, Hotels and Resorts employed Omani architect Mohamed al Akkad from MA Design Architectural Consultations to design the prestigious development using his local insights as the creative force for the design of a series of homes perfect for the end user. Savills Oman is the official Muscat-based real estate agent appointed for the sale of this prestigious development.
